ACCWA will attend the Space STAR 2023 Conference in Sousse (Tunisia)

The ACCWA project will be present at the SPACE STAR’23 conference, that will take place on October 18-20 2023 on Sousse (Tunisia). It is a unique scientific and technological event aiming at crossing research activities in the fields of Space Science, Technology, Applications and Regulation, and its second edition will be dedicated to cooperation between Africa, the Mediterranean region and Europe.
The conference will have a specific section devoted to the H2020-Marie Sklodowska Curie Action-RISE ACCWA project on the 19th of October.
The interest of the conference is to cover all new original research activities, new current scientific challenges, and multidisciplinary and innovative programs regarding the new development of NewSpace. During this meeting, researchers and potential and renowned actors from universities, companies, public authorities, and international organizations will exchange views on the future of the space domain and on the implementation of good practices in the space field, to achieve the UN's sustainable development goals.
This conference is also part of the deployment of the Tunisian national strategy launched since March 2018 by the CNEEA (National Committee for Outer Space). SPACE STAR 23 will be organized in the city of Sousse, founded in the 2nd century BC by the Phoenicians in the western Mediterranean.
